ROLLING HOME:
As we enter the final three months of the current campaign, let's have a look back at the good, the bad and host of the other one that we have had the sorry pleasure to witness so far.
HOME AWAY
ABERDEEN 1-2 ?-? 3-1 0-3
A tremendous start at Pittodrie in August gave us our second away win on the trot, but that excitement was tempered by two subsequent defeats, with the home tie being especially painful both to Motherwell Fans' heads and Jim Leighton's alike. Will our clash on the, last day of the season hold importance for either???
**EVENTUAL POINTS HAUL - SIX**
HOME AWAY
CELTIC 2-3 1-1 2-0 ?-?
Another successful term with our victory at Parkhead a welcome ray of sunshine for the 'Well's travelling support. Despite this, we would sacrifice the points in April if would put up the same sort of spirited show against the over seven sides - wouldn't we??!!?
*EVENTUAL POINTS HAUL - FOUR**
HOME AWAY
DUNDEE UTD 1-0 ?-? 0-4 0-1
The pattern of the home side being on top in this game in recent seasons seems sure to continue, with our last assault of the City of Discovery lasting barely minutes. However Owen Coyle brought
us our first home win since we patted company with Andy Roddie (a mere coincidence - i think so!) and expect more of the same.
**EVENTUAL POINTS HAUL - SIX** Whoops!
HOME AWAY
DUNFERMLINE 2-0 ?-? 2-0 ?-?
Another successful spell against a team were normally do o.k. against, Tommy's double putting us TOP OF THE LEAGUE(bet you don't see those four words again this issue!!) on day one, while Coyle's brace in the return gave us only our second win at Fir Park since the great Roddie departed(this is getting ridiculous now!!)
**EVENTUAL POINTS HAUL - TEN**
HOME AWAY
HEARTS 1-4 ? ? 0-2 ?-?
Looks familiar......another sorry time against one of our least favourite adversaries. Excuse me while I fall into desperate, clutching at straws manager-speak (wonder where I could have picked
that up from??!??) but we didn't play as bad in either game as the results seem to indicate with dodgy defending and diabolical refereeing being our downfall. We wait to see if we can dent the Jambo's march to the title (snigger!)
**EVENTUAL POINTS HAUL - ONE**
HOME AWAY
HIBS 1-1 6-2 1-1 ?-?
Looked like our annual bore-draw-fest and worst at 3-08 lat month and then......we hit one of those all to-infrequent games to remember. If can manage to win the last of our meetings who knows what will achieve.
**EVENTUAL POINTS HAUL - EIGHT**
HOME AWAY
KILMARNOCK 0-1 ?-? 1-2 1-4
Surely shome mishtake......one of our usual point collecting outings suddenly pear-shaped with a big fat zero to date. They can't do the clean sweep - honest!
**EVENTUAL POINTS HAUL - THREE**
HOME AWAY
RANGERS 1-1 ?-? 1-1 0-1
A good sequence of results on the back of our party pooping of May, but another victory in March would top it off nicely. Could this be the game where ten-in-a-row dies??????
(PLEEEEEAAAAASSSEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
**EVENTUAL POINTS HAUL - FIVE**
HOME AWAY
ST JOHNSTONE 0-1 ?-? 3-4 ?-?
From the sublime end of our great start to the season (ie week two?!!!) to the ridiculous bridge to far at Perth, we have some points to catch up on in this one. No team with Alan Kernaghan and
Roddy Grant can be better than us surely?!!?!!
