Price rise - a pound for GLF
Not much time to editorialise this issue due to a large increase in contributions in recent weeks where all the main points are covered. But I would like to express our gratitude to the players and management for fulfilling our confidenc e in the last issue that the spectre of relegation could be overcome, and we can look forward to another season amongst the "elite". The one cloud on the horizon is the implications of the Bosman case and the possible loss of key men lik e Lambert and McKinnon. I am alarmed that the board are not prepared to burst the bank to keep them, as the search for quality replacements could be a difficult one.
On the subject of our fanzine you will have noticed that we have been forced to charge a pound for the first time. I hope this will be offset by the fact that we have 40 pages for the first time in over four years. Despite some problems with some of our outlets we will be back next season for one of the early home games and will again hope to have at least four issues, throughout the whole season.
I look forward to hearing from some of you who may be making a trip to Euro '96, I am going to Old Trafford for Germany v. Czech Republic, and any stories, photos arising from this tournament. Once this and T in the Park are behind us we will be back for pre-season games before you know !!! Enjoy the break, see you in August/September.
