FirParkCorner FC v Harry Wraggs - Preview

Ramage returns
The Motherwell team will look to add to the eight game unbeaten run with the game in Maryhill. The return of Graeme Ramage will be welcomed. His addition to the squad has seen more football play from the heart of defence than over the past few seasons, which was lacking in last week’s win over Arab FC. It will be difficult for manager Fraser to decide whether to pitch Ramage straight back into the action and if he does, who to sacrifice. Last week’s clean sheet was the first since October 2003 but to repeat that feat the team will have to do it without goalkeeper Graeme Farmer. His replacement may come in the shape of Ross Mitchell who did well when called upon against Athletico Bilbino at the end of last season.

The midfield loses the services of both Chris Miller and Darryn Alexander. The latter is resting will rest a knee injury over the next few weeks whilst Miller has to contend with an ankle injury. However, Ross Clark and Mark Gardiner will be available for selection again as a large squad heads to the other side of Glasgow.

In the last game between the sides FPC ran out 6-2 winners back in September 2003. Five players from the starting 11 that day are in contention for the match with Mitchell, David Hendry and Ross Galloway all likely to start.
