With captain Gavin Hepworth missing along with key defenders Ross Mitchell and Graeme Ramage, it was a new-look formation with Mick Anderson and Alan Easton slotting into the backline to good effect. It wasn't long before the home side had the lead.
The lead was soon doubled when a scramble in the penalty box resulted in the ball falling to Chris Miller, whose net bound shot was cruelly deflected past the goalkeeper by his own defender. The points were made safe with another fortunate goal before the interval as Joe Lynas fired a shot straight at the goalkeeper from point-blank range, only to see the ball deflect back off him and into the net.
Into the second half, the Corner continued to dominate and the goal of the game came from Ross Clark, who had already kept goal, and a clean sheet, in the first half. He delightfully controlled a chipped ball from Ross Galloway on the edge of the box and lobbed the advancing keeper into the net.

He almost made it three goals for the season shortly afterwards when he cheekily nicked the ball from the end of the 'keepers' toe when he was preparing to launch it upfield but as Alexander ran away celebrating, the referee produced a yellow card and awarded the freekick to the visitors.
All in all, a good day for the 'Corner and with two wins out of two, the lads will be looking forward to hosting Stirling on Saturday and will be looking to cement their place on top of the league.
