The home side got off to a flying start, with top-scorer Joseph Lynas and comeback king Davie Tonner both netting inside the opening five minutes.

Well done the scorers!

However, the away side mounted a comeback and a long-range effort took a bad bounce from the uneven pitch to beat Graeme Farmer between the sticks. They soon hauled themselves level as Ross Mitchell was adjudged to have used an arm to control the ball inside the box, and the visiting striker made no mistake from the spot.

Heads up in the box

Livingston
took the lead five minutes before half time as a goal-line scramble resulted in Farmer blasting the ball off the back of Philip Speedie before watching it trickle agonisingly over the line. Speedie, however, was delighted to appear on the score sheet for the first time in his five years playing for the club. Just before the interval, FPC got the crucial equaliser. A magnificent save from the Lions goalkeeper fell kindly for Davie Tonner and he made no mistake from ten yards.

The goal clearly lifted Fraser's troops, and they came out after the break with all guns blazing. Joseph Lynas ran clear of the defence and slotted the ball into the corner of the net within minutes of the restart. Davie Tonner then completed his hat-trick with a well-placed to wrap up the points.

However, the scoring didn't stop there, and Lynas, not to be outdone, also notched his third goal of the game by rounding the advancing goalkeeper and guiding the ball home from a tight angle. Cementing his place at the top of the scoring charts, he then beat the offside trap to make it seven and hand his team their first win in three games.
