Prediction v Livingston (a)

As has been said many times since the Boxing Day triumph it is a pity we cannot play Celtic or Rangers every week. We seem to have an added edge in games we are expected to lose and this is something we will have to now take into the vital games coming up like Sunday’s away to Livingston. We have just got to keep on picking up points on a regular basis. We cannot afford to go on another losing run like we did after the Celtic game in September. If we do we will certainly be bottom of the league come the end of the season.

Terry looks like he has a full squad to pick from but I wouldn’t anticipate too many changes from the eleven that started on Thursday. We certainly owe Livingston one after the defeat they inflicted on us at Fir Park earlier in the season. In many ways I would have been more confident of us picking some points up on Sunday if we had been turned over by Rangers. I still have this worry that we can throw in a poor performance at any time particularly after a big win. Terry will have to work hard on the players to try and ensure they perform on Sunday and Livingston will be scrapping hard for another victory. They will certainly be up for it after ending their losing streak emphatically against Dundee United.

We could really put some pressure on United if we pick up all 3 points on Sunday but I think more realistically another 1-1 draw is the likely result.
