Speaking to MFC TV our new man showed off his claret and amber shirt (#24) and shared some of his thoughts on joining the Mighty Well. The 20 year old graduated through the Derby County youth system and has spent time at clubs in Germany, Finland and Holland.
He described himself as not an “out and out striker” but as an attacker who prefers to play wide in a 4-3-3 or as support for the main striker in a 4-4-2. He likes to use pace to get by his man and to set up chances for others though chipping in with a few goals of his own. Henrik hopes to force his way into the team and seems open to extending his stay beyond the end of the season.
There might be an ideal chance to see him in first team action this weekend – surely we should be in a position to give him a run out at some stage against Queen’s Park?
The departure of Stephen Hughes on Tuesday will have given Stuart McCall some slack in the wage bill and he’ll be hoping that his judgement pays off with a few goals.
