The event, planned with the backing of Eileen O'Donnell, will support the British Heart Foundation and Mary's Meals. 
Fans of Motherwell and Celtic are sure to dominate the event but a welcome will be extended to all who wish to honour the memory of Phil. The ten mile walk will leave the Phil O'Donnell Stand at Fir Park at 10am on Tuesday 29 December and make its way to Parkhead.
The memory of the tragic events two years ago when Phil collapsed in the pitch is etched in the minds of the 5,000 crowd that attended the match against Dundee United and provoked a massive reaction throughout the whole football community and beyond. The walk provides an ideal way for fans to show that Phil has not been forgotten.
