Although he felt that a haul of four points from the away games against both Saints was good he was not impressed with latest performance and he took responsibility for that. "Here's a cunning plan...."
There’s no doubt that this was the worst showing under the Brown/Knox leadership. There was an acknowledgement that it says something about a team if it can play poorly and not lose.
St Mirren were disappointed that they hadn’t taken advantage of the late chances that fell to Dorman. The first, within seconds of his substitute appearance, was a high slice and the second was a snatched effort high and wide when a calmer head might have had more success. We have to hope that the trio who were missing from the starting line up together with the rested Jutkiewicz are raring to go come 3pm on Saturday. A big game awaits and we’ll have to play with more flair to take the points.
