Our record with opening day fixtures is a horror. One win in ten attempts is a woeful record for a team that has started to become a regular in the top half of the table. Will we get a turn of fortune and a three point start to the new campaign?
A year ago the SPL computer sent Hibs to Fir Park but although we dominated the first half we managed to lose the game 2-3. Here’s a reminder of the last ten years.

There will be no Lanarkshire derby to offer local interest this season, instead we'll have the trip over the Forth Road Bridge to Dunfermline. Those fans unfortunate enough to have been at East End Park for our last visit (in 2007) will want to forget the 4-1 drubbing but for those who didn't make journey here's the report.
