Stephen Craigan’s charges have beaten Partick Thistle, Stenhousemuir, Kilmarnock, St Johnstone and Ross County to reach the final stage of the competition. The showcase of Scotland’s young talent has been a platform for many distinguished careers since the tournament was founded in 1984.
Motherwell’s only appearance in the final was in 1987 when Celtic won the prize at Fir Park. In recent years the final has found a home at Hampden.
Kick-off on Wednesday is 7.30pm and entry is £5 for adults and £2 for children. The game will be shown on BBC Alba and MFC TV hopes to provide online commentary at mixlr.com/motherwellfc.
