Motherwell have continued the policy of grabbing them young with the release of season tickets for 2017/18.
Prices have been held in all stands and the Wellevate scheme that enables two Junior tickets to be included with adult and concession books for the Cooper and one in the Hunter and O'Donnell stands runs again. In addition a flat price of £20 will buy a Junior (under 16) ticket anywhere in the stadium.
There is no better way to ensure the growth of our home support than buy encouraging youngsters to get involved with the club. Through the many community programmes and by attractive family pricing Motherwell must be leading the way. Two kids and a grandparent can watch all our league games for £195 - that's an amazing £3 a head per game. And a Junior ticket gives spectacular value at £1 a game.
Let's hope Motherwell is going to tackle the issue of crazy pricing for away fans. While regular home fans can access games at reasonable rates the punitive pricing on away gates does nothing to build crowds. Let's try some cooperation with like minded clubs to build reciprocal agreements for season ticket holders and see if we can encourage fans to watch their teams home and away.
