The Livi website encourages ‘Well fans (especially those with children) to arrive early and enjoy the fun. It carries the following details about the day.

Fun for all ages in special show before the

Livingston v Motherwell game on Saturday. Top Scottish celebrities and an up-and-coming boy band will lead the entertainment at a special Family Fun Day at Livingston’s Almondvale Stadium before Saturday’s SPL game with Motherwell.

A range of activities have been organised for children of all ages, as well as their parents attending the FREE event, which starts at 11.30am and will extend until shortly before match kick-off at 3pm.

Top of the bill will be:

 Richard Park – The Headmaster from BBC TV’s ‘Fame Academy” – applying his usual tough judging technique to karaoke competitors from the stadium’s PowerStation nightclub

 Dean Park, Scottish virtuoso singer and performer, performing live

 Up-and-coming boy band Noise Next Door will also be onstage, coinciding with their first appearance on the CD UK music channel this weekend

 Guest appearances by STV’s Sara O and Radio Clyde’s Suzie McGuire, who may bring along a special mystery guest on the day

 The Scottish Starlets cheerleaders will also be performing during the event.

Children’s entertainment will include:  Bouncy castles

 A Play-trailer

 Face painting

 Magic show and other fun and games.

Entry is FREE and Livingston are also offering special reduced ticket prices for the Motherwell match (£10 adults, £5 children and concessions)

The Family Fun Day is being arranged in collaboration with Radio Clyde and local radio station River FM may broadcast live from the event.

Children can take part in a special “mascot draw” and Livingston chairman Tony Kinder will be taking up a challenge from fans to have his famously wild hair cut and styled for charity.

“The Family Fun Day is the first of several events we are planning throughout the season,” explained Vivien Kyles, chief executive of the club working on behalf of Lionheart Management.

“We are very grateful to everyone who has helped arrange the event and we are hoping that many local families from West Lothian and beyond will find something entertaining from a broad range of fun activities.

“We believe that a football day should be fun, as well as being family-based and obviously we hope that as many people as possible will be tempted to participate in the event, and follow that by attending the game itself.

We hope that Motherwell fans who might come to Almondvale a little earlier will join us in the festivities at Livingston, especially those travelling with children

“This is an inclusive day for Livingston fans and the wider community and we really hope as many people as possible will come along to enjoy themselves and be thoroughly entertained.”
