Preview: Hibs (h)

The side from Leith have only experienced one defeat so far this season and that was at our hands in the League Cup. Remarkably they are the only unbeaten side in the league and they are nicely placed between the Old Firm in second spot. With the result of the Glasgow derby being known before our game is played, they will have some big motivation. A Celtic win will mean they can go five points clear of Rangers in second by beating us but a home win or a draw will give them the chance to go top of the league.

A sight we'd rather not see!

Their midfield will be significantly weakened by the absence of Beuzelin with Stevenson or Zemmama filling in for him. Fletcher missed the Scotland U21 game in mid-week but should be fit.

On our side we have a full squad available to the manager. McCormack missed out on the U21 thrashing in Holland but he should be available to play off Porter in the attack while O'Donnell will presumably come back into the side at the expense of McGarry who could move to the bench if he doesn't dislodge Clarkson or even McCormack from the front line.

We seemed to hit a purple patch when we hammered them at Easter Road so while we know we are capable of beating them, they will not be taking this game for granted.

Our defence isn't bad, in the comedy style of years gone by, but we do make stupid mistakes and our total inability to defend set pieces could hurt us once more. Hibs are unbeaten in the league for a reason but they are not invincible and we should feel confident of taking something at home. This could be an enthralling game with everyone leaving relatively pleased after a 2-2 draw.

Remember the last time Hibs were at Fir Park?
