Preview: Kilmarnock (h)

Our guys have been without a start for over two weeks and should be raring to go. There are no reported injuries and the transfer window signings have had time to settle in. The home crowd will welcome Stevie Hammell back to the left back role he knows so well. He'll even find a new green carpet waiting for him on the east stand wing! Will Lappin get a start on the left of midfield? For a change we have some speculation about our starting eleven.

Our opponents have to back six league games to find their last win (on Boxing Day against Hibs) and they have tumbled down the table to eleventh place since then. They lost 5-1 to Celtic in the cup last weeks and the fans are not happy. There is talk of protests against their chairman and manager Jeffries has had to appeal to them to get behind the team on match days.

Killie will be embarrassed and desperate to take something from the game but they have a few injury worries and are unlikely to be at full strength. If we can recover from the enforced layoff period and if the park allows the ball to be passed then we should be able to take all three points. 2-0 to the Mighty 'Well.
