Butcher has certainly made a big difference at Caley as his side is still unbeaten under his leadership. He has won only once in the league but with points also taken at home to Celtic and away to Dundee United complementing a cup win over Killie, they have reason to be confident.
The main difference appears to be the defence. Djebi-Zabi has been recalled from obscurity and David Proctor has suddenly become a regular while Phil McGuire is no longer given the time of day. The result is only one goal conceded in four games and though they still aren't banging them in at the other end, they have been doing enough.
Bob's about to score!
Richie Foran and Brian Kerr are now in the team and they could provoke an interesting reaction from the travelling support but it still has to be said, while Inverness are now an organised team on form, we should still fancy our chances of winning.
We too have been defending well recently while generally being solid going forward but we will need to change the back four due to Quinn's suspension. The play of Klimpl in the midfield means it would be insane to move him so the options seem to be Lasley, Malcolm or young Stevie Saunders who stood in previously.
Now we are in the top six we need not only to consolidate but to push up to put pressure on those chasing for the European spots. A win here would be important in both regards and with a good performance we might just get it - 2-1 Motherwell.
Remember the last trip to Inverness?
