Dundee United have now played three games under the management of Craig Brewster and they have drawn them all. It would be a brave man who predicted a change from this pattern at the weekend.
United, like us, do not have their injury problems to seek and they will also be missing Barry Robson who was red carded in the mid-week draw with Hearts.

Anything other than an Inverness win in the North will open the top six door a jar but anything less than a home win at
Will we get the win we so badly need? Perhaps. It is hard to tell. We are capable of playing decent football, that is plain to see, but there is nothing to suggest we will not continue to ship goals that would embarrass a pub side. We are capable of making chances too – but between good goal keeping, solid wood work and plain bad finishing we are not converting. Things need to be put right and they need to be put right fast to keep this season alive.
We do have a couple of options. Steven McGarry and Phil O’Donnell will be understandably aggrieved if they are not now given a chance to improve things. It may be that some fresh legs and ideas will give everyone else a boost. If Terry does decide to ring the changes, no one in the midfield or striking positions will feel their place is guaranteed.
We will be slightly better than United this weekend.
Unfortunately in football being slightly better than your opponent is not sufficient to take the points, you have to prove it in terms of goals. With our leaky defence and mis-firing attack we will once again leave wondering how we failed to pick up three points. 1-1.
Can you remember the last time United visited Fir Park?
