So, given all that, one has to wonder is it worth all that added hassle? Only you can tell, let me know next week. I'll know when I see how many copies I have left on Saturday at kick-off time.
OSB has been just about sold out every time over the past year, I know from speaking to Chris Hutton that GLF's figures have been steady as well so the efforts of all the contributors are not going to waste and that's pleasing.
I'll be expecting a fair bit of feedback from this issue to be honest as it's somewhat Old Firm heavy shall we say. Bit of hypocrisy accusations heading my way methinks since I'm always going on about how the Weejie Meedja thrive on the 'biggest game in the world' simply for the headlines it's produces. You wouldn't expect us to let it lie though would you? Have to take the opportunity to have a pop when it arises and if there's one thing we at OSB like, it's having a pop at the Mould Firm.
There is another reason of course, some of the guys were saying to me it's more difficult to come up with material when our own team's doing so well and that's very true. If you look at the most successful of fanzines across the country, they always seem to thrive on adversity. Our challenge is to keep producing a quality 'zine however our own team is performing. Only our readers will know if we've achieved that, you know where to get me if you want to moan.
See ya
