But the finest Motherwell fanzine named after a Madness song....ever, has none of these popular traits I'm glad to say, nor do we have a new man at the helm, nor does the current incumbent seem to have a clue either. So it's a case of the more things change the more they stay the same although some old favourites have poked their heads in to scribble some nonsense before retreating back to their anonymous shells.
Witness the return of Fah Kemahl, Feh King Sanny and Wayne Kerr and see if you can guess who is on the end of their unique style of vitriol. For all that, the regular faces remain in abundance, Giggsy, Geoff Baby, Yir, Pompey John, all present and correct, depending on your viewpoint, ready to hail Noah's appointment and hope for better times ahead.
Despite all the wailing and greeting we all want the same thing from this season, a marked improvement on last season is a given but a team who at least look as if they're trying is a good start. One Step Beyond never fails on that front, I can unequivocally state that we remain trying, very trying. We do our best to please but remember this above all else, it's still only a quid, cheap at half the price. Even if you don't like it, it's still good value.
