Well, one of the most difficult issues to produce, ever, is finished and ready for sale at the Killie game tomorrow. I've nicked the Well Boys design from their big banner produced for Tynecastle to use as a simple tribute to Uncle Phil on the front cover. The lads involved deserve enormous credit for their efforts and get a deserved credit inside also.
The difficult part with this issue was deciding where to end the mourning and start having a laugh again. I haven't felt much like slagging opponents off, nor have I really felt the results and performances worthy of getting overly upset about (albeit there haven't been many games) but slowly there were signs we were getting back to normal as the material came flooding in from the other guys.
Big hats off to them for varying the content and a 'big hats' off to the Motherwell family who pulled together at a difficult time. Now I think we should get back to doing what we do best, being a frustrating bunch who can't see eye to eye except on one thing, we all want Motherwell F&AC to be the best it can possibly be.
Sellers will be on the streets from 2pm tomorrow, hopefully we managed to strike the correct balance, equally I hope readers will agree.
