Next up - Kilmarnock

Killie have struggled for a few seasons but under Mixu Paatelainen they have found a style which is both pleasing on the eye and the scoreboard.  They have all but secured a top six place already although with Europe effectively beyond them they are in the position of having little to play for even at this stage of the season.

defence

Last time at Rugby Park

Eremenko will be the danger player for the hosts and though he was quiet when they defeated us at Fir Park recently, he will be the one to watch.  They have a couple of injuries and Wright is suspended from the defence but also a slightly curious situation in goals.  Cammy Bell has only established himself as the number one this season but a contract dispute means his Rugby Park career could well come to an end in summer and he may not play for the club again in the meantime.

From our point of view we have plenty of options as while McHugh is out, Jennings is now back from his ban and everyone else seems fit.  The manager will have the pleasant problem of having difficult decisions to make all over the pitch with the defence alone offering dozens of permutations.  The midfield and attack also pose questions though one certainty is that Sutton will lead the line following his double at Tannadice.

We have a decent record at Rugby Park but while we may not replicate our win there from earlier in the season, we will probably be quite content to leave with a point thanks to a 1-1 draw.
