Next up - St Johnstone
While we have been motoring along nicely before stalling fractionally in the last two weeks, St Johnstone are continuing to move through the gears. A slight struggle could have been expected following the departure of manager McInnes but Steve Lomas seems to have continued the good work. A draw at Ibrox and solid wins over the Edinburgh team means the Saints are just four points behind us - and they will be confident of closing that gap further.
The previous meeting between the sides this season was at Fir Park and we produced a horrible performance to lose 3-0. We can at least console ourselves we cannot possibly be so bad again and if Keith Lasley has shaken off his thigh problem, the midfield is likely to return to full strength. Stuart McCall will have to decide which two from Humphrey, Murphy and Daley join Law and Higdon in chasing goals from the start.
This will be another tough encounter but our away form this season has been sensational and we should not be intimidated by anyone. Sitting in to hit on the break may well prove fruitful once more and a 2-0 victory could give us some revenge for events earlier in the season.
