Apparently there are a number of parties still interested in buying us but they cannot register official bids yet as the financial information still hasn’t been sent out to them. This clearly isn’t the fault of the potential buyers – but haven’t we been at the ‘sending out financial info’ stage for quite a while?

Of course, one perfectly rational explanation could be that our finances are not as clear cut as was first thought, but that’s not something we want to dwell on, is it?
On the brighter side of the news, we have a new full internationalist at the club. James McFadden made his Scotland debut as a second half substitute in the 2-0 loss against South Africa this morning. Faddy was just one of a number of young players on the Far East tour and will be delighted with his cap. There’s not been much said about his performance today but he did have a header disallowed for offside.
Scotland have now lost four matches in a row for the first time since 1973. Berti Vogts is now the first Scotland manager to lose his first four games. Let’s hope for a better result for Faddy, Berti and Scotland when they take on a Hong Kong XI on Thursday.
