Darren, who is son of ex-Premier league player Ross Jack, signed a one year deal after a meeting with George Adams. In an ideal world we probably would not have been interested in playing Darren in the first team immediately but with our small squad he could get an early chance.
Reports suggest that Jack is a striker although soccerbase.com has him down as a midfielder. He has made only one senior appearence and that was from the subs bench.
He will join the rest of the first team squad for pre-season training on Monday.
