It is a measure of the extent that Motherwell seem to have flown under the radar that we have reached the giddy heights without troubling the statisticians. The only claim to fame is that we have recorded 6 clean sheets (compared to 3 at this stage last season). That’s a decent tribute to our defence and maybe that should be noted before we fall into the easy trap of handing out unjustified criticism!
