Motherwell Old Boys Lose in Quarter Final

Our squad joined Chelsea, Leicester, Newcastle, Notts Forrest, Leeds, Wolves and Man Utd to take place in the straight knock out. Motherwell had qualified by winning the Scottish heat at Braehead earlier in the summer.
We were represented by some well kent faces - Howie, Boyd, Mauchlen, Coyle, Harvey, May, Dolan, Martin and Black. Our scorers were Coyle (Player of the Tournament at Braehead with seven goals from the three qualifying games) and Dolan.
The Tournament was won by Leicester after a penalty shoot out against Wolves.
Ah well, there's always next year!
