Motherwell handed Welsh challenge

Motherwell have been sent to Wales in the first round of the Europa League. The first leg is at home against Llanelli on July 2nd although of course we'll be playing in Airdrie. The second leg down in Wales will be on July 9th with many hundreds of Motherwell fans no doubt delighted with the thought of an easy and relatively cheap trip south.

Should we win we will be heading off to face Flamurtari from Albania. This time the away leg will be first on July 16th before the return takes place in Airdrie on July 23rd.

If we manage to progress past both Llanelli and Flamurtari we will still have a lot of work to do to reach the group stages of the Europa League.

No doubt there will be plenty more discovered about our opponents in due course!
