"Anyway, part of my job as assistant is to organise things for the following season. Last close season I organised the trips and the training as Terry was abroad so it's not a case if he leaves it will b e anything new.
I'm already organising the training and speaking to agents with a view to new signings. Nothing would change at all other than me having a different title. Terry is going to the World Cup anyway so I'll be staying here doing all the work.
"There have been times I could have jumped but for family reasons and for reasons when it didn't feel right, I didn't take them. Sometimes you sit and think if you'll get another chance and who knows if I've timed it well? I'll tell you that in a wee while."
