Enough about them though - they are down the at the bottom for a reason and if we play to our capabilities, we should be confident of picking up the points. However, consistency has always been a problem for Motherwell teams and this current side is no different. Terry Butcher will ensure we are not complacent but it is still impossible to say if everyone will play like they did on Thursday.
On the bright side, we avoided injuries in the Rangers match so there are no changes forced on the side. While Eugine Dadi may play, he is certainly not the giant that would justify the inclusion of Daniel Sengewald. Corrigan and Kinniburgh have been outstanding all season but the recent performances of Hammell and Partridge means it is likely we will stick with the 4-4-2.
James McFadden gave the Rangers defence a torrid time and he will continue to partner Dirk Lehmann upfront. Diggler has also been playing well but he has struggled against massive Marvin Andrews in the past. If we can play passing football and get balls in to the feet of our strikers, chances will be made.
Livingston have won four out of the five SPL clashes between the sides and the other was a draw, so to say we owe them one is a bit of an understatement. For whatever reason, we seem to shoot ourselves in the foot whenever we play them and if we give away silly goals we will leave with nothing. Enough of the negative thinking though. When we are on a four game unbeaten run wehave to think of the positives. This game is here for the taking but we should not be heartbroken when we return with a third consecutive 1-1 away from home.
