Kilmarnock Preview

We managed to beat them twice last season, once in the Cup and once in the SPL. Given our woeful record last year ‘Well fans are happy to clutch at any straw as a sign of hope.

Derek Adams is at last free of suspension and his return could be the catalyst needed to turn the game in our favour. His inclusion will nudge up the average age of the team from last week’s record breaking low.

The chances of McFadden taking part seem to be improving. His non-appearance at Livingston disappointed the travelling fans and the sight of him sporting the colours on Saturday would give the crowd a huge lift. He was withdrawn from the midweek international squad and TB's midweek press briefing suggests that there is hope. Fingers crossed!

Kilmarnock have managed win and a loss so far but they have some injury worries. Invincible and Locke were injured last Saturday and reports suggest they will not make the starting eleven. But it is possible that Frankie Dubourdeau could make his debut for Killie – remember Meldrum’s blunder at Ibrox?

There is every possibility that we will break our duck on Saturday but it is difficult to see three points on the board by 5pm. Get your money on a 1-1 draw.
