John Boyle released from hospital

JB prepares for a cycling trip in Vietnam earlier this year.
FPC heard on Saturday evening that John was feeling poorly during the game and that paramedics attended him after the final whistle.

The Sunday Herald quotes Terry Butcher as saying, “He was taken away in an ambulance. I don’t know what the circumstances are.”

The paper also quotes a club spokesman who said, “He was attended by club doctors and then taken to hospital (Wishaw General) for tests. His wife has spoken to him and it is not thought to be serious”.

The Chairman is still a regular at ‘Well games. He was in the middle of the wild celebration that followed the final whistle after the recent win against Celtic and he also made the trip to Methil last week for our CIS cup tie against East Fife.

We wish John all the best and hope that he is in his usual seat for the next game at Fir Park, against Aberdeen on Saturday.

UPDATE SUNDAY PM
