Jam Tarts Junket At Fir Park

Some bright spark hit upon the idea of giving some corporate Hearts fans an enjoyable day out at the CIS Semi final and charging them £99 plus vat into the bargain. A luxury coach, no doubt full of business types, left Tynecastle at 2.30pm this afternoon. It arrived at Fir Park around 3.30pm where the customers enjoyed a three course meal with wine, liqueurs and a complimentary bar.

The entertainment was provided by after dinner speaker and ex-‘Well star Johnny Gaughan. The fans (no doubt boozed up) were then taken to Hampden where more hospitality was enjoyed before they took up their corporate seats in the stand. The coach then returned to Tynecastle after the game.

Just to complete the deal, every customer also gets a free ticket to the next Motherwell versus Hearts game. A contribution that would have made the difference to the swithering supporter, particularly since the game might not take place for over two years if we get relegated this year!

Still, the club might have made a few grand out of today. And that can never be a bad thing!
