A trip to Israel or Albania is the reward for Motherwell in Q3 of the Europa League - if we can take care of Coleraine.
Laç of Albania or Israel's Hapoel Beer-Sheva were pulled out of the hat against us by the UEFA bigwigs at the House of Football in Nyon on Tuesday.
Assuming seeded Hapoel do the business it is unlikely to please anyone at Fir Park. It will be a costly trip and we will be second favourite against a side who, while hardly a giant, can have a European pedigree far greater than us.
Lac on the other hand would seem a much more managable prospect should they spring an upset but their record suggests that's not likely.
First of course we must deal with Coleraine on September 17 to reach Q3 a week later. It is an odd competition this year - but still better to be in it than not.
