While some of the nationwide comparisons for extras like pies, programmes and tea give some strange results (a pie in at Alloa costs £1 while in Bournemouth it's £3.50) the main focus for Motherwell fans is the SPL data.
The BBC emailed all the clubs and asked for information about the costs of the cheapest and dearest season tickets, cheapest and dearest match-day ticket as well as the price charged for a pie, tea and programme.
Some clubs, like Motherwell, include more than just league games in the season bundle (the first domestic cup tie in our case while others allow entry to U20 fixtures) but the figures still reveal lots about our game. Our East Stand base price of £18 is at the lower end of SPL gate prices but Kilmarnock (£17) and Inverness (£16) give better value. At the other end Celtic (£23) and St Johnstone (£22) topped that table.
Again, we came out well in the season ticket table. Our £270 was beaten only by Aberdeen (£227) and Inverness (£200). Four SPL teams break the £300 barrier for a season cheap seat (Celtic, Hearts, St Mirren and Ross County). Hibs failed to make a return but their steep prices place them near the high end.
The significant omission from the survey was the cost for travelling fans. In almost every case they are excluded from the lowest tier of pricing and are placed behind the goal (or an obscure corner at Parkhead).
