Inverness Match News

There is some bad news, as Inverness are not allowed to use the terracing parts of their ground, the capacity will be reduced to 2200. This will mean Motherwell fans will receive a very small number of tickets although Caledonian Stadium could not confirm the exact number this afternoon. The tickets have not yet been printed so there is no point in camping outside Fir Park quite yet! The media will be informed of the details within the next couple of days.
The last time we met Inverness was in the Scottish Cup when they won 1-0 at Fir Park last season. We have a better record against them in the League Cup though, with a penalty shoot out win at Fir Park going along with a 1-0 at the Caledonian Stadium.
The long journey to Inverness mid-week will put a lot of people off traveling but as this is Inverness’ first game at home since promotion, a sell out crowd could be on the cards. Let’s hope they don’t get the chance to have another proper home game in the next round!
