The good news has to be that there is every chance Terry Butcher will have both O’Donnell and Leitch back in midfield. ‘Well fans are proud of the developing youngsters in the team but we recognise the need for a few veterans. The return of this pair should restore some welcome experience to the team which played the part of boys against men at Parkhead last week.
We have already lost to Hibs, both home and away, this season though on each occasion by the odd goal. A win on Saturday would be a perfect fillip before the CIS semi on Tuesday. The defence will be boosted by Partridge’s elevation to the Welsh international squad and it may be that others are listed in Friday’s announcements.
