Five players have scored in the last three games (Clarkson, Fagan, Pearson, Craig and McFadden) and with Dirk Lehmann making a brief return. Terry has a pleasant problem in selecting the front runners.
The forwards did well on the last visit to Gorgie Road. We were two up before the wheels came off! McFadden had a tight hamstring after last week’s game and there may be some concern about his fitness.
No worries at the back though, with the defensive trio of Partridge, Vaughan and Corrigan beginning to form a good understanding.
Derek Adams misses out as he serves the first of a two match suspension. The Jam tart’s captain, Steven Pressley, is likely to feature after a being sent home on Tuesday.
No doubt the ‘Well support will be considerably less that the big turnout at Broadwood last week. Tickets are available at Fir Park (£16/£10) and on matchday from Tynecastle.
Maurice Malpas will be on duty for the first time with the first team. He was a spectator at the Clyde game and was at the U21 game against Dundee United. Let’s hope he helps us come away with a point in a 1-1 draw.
