The match, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, will be the first between the teams since the Euro 2000 qualifying playoff in 1999 and Hammell's inclusion in Starchan's squad follows his call up for Scotland's last match - the WC qualifier in Croatia.
August will be a busy month for our left back. He'll face our Russian opponents, FC Kuban, in the Europa League on the 1st and 8th and he'll have SPFL fixtures on the 4th, 11th, 17th, 24th and 31st in addition to the Wembley trip on the 14th.
