Both clubs have to come to an agreement on entry prices for cup games and on this occasion they have to be congratulated for the initiative. Let's hope that we fill the away stand at the Caledonian Stadium. We're all to used to travelling for the first cup game of the season (that's ten in a row now!) and this move gives us every chance of taking a big support up north.
Some detail from the ICT site…
"Caley Thistle and Motherwell are offering a New Year gift to young fans in the shape of free admission to their Active Nation Scottish Cup tie at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on Saturday 9th January 2010.
Both clubs are offering free entry to the game for fans aged 16 and under, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult on pre purchased tickets.
Both clubs have agreed to set ticket prices for this cup game with adults at £15 and concession groups at or all stands."
The hardy few at Inverness
Tickets will be available in Inverness to their priority supporters next week with a general sale from December 29. Motherwell details will no doubt follow soon.
