The hosts had the better of the opening period but couldn't convert possession into goals and were shocked midway through the second half as the Ayrshire side took the lead with a finely struck effort in off the crossbar that left FPC goalie Deryck Fraser well beaten.
The equaliser came shortly afterwards when a magnificent lofted ball from Barry Jones sent Dave Hendry clear on the left and he unleashed a thunderous finish to give the visiting goalkeeper no chance.
Just as it looked as though the match would end all square, a pin-point cross from Stevie Taylor found Ross Clark at the back post and he dispatched a cool finish into the corner of the net. The victory is the Corner’s third on the bounce and they will be looking to keep their run going when they host Queens Park SFC in the return match from last month’s fixture.
