Faddy will support the front pairing of Kyle and Crawford and if his performance is half as impressive as he delivered against Livingston at the weekend there is a chance that he could be included in the full squad for the big game against Germany.
There are seats available in all sections of Tynecastle for the 8pm kick off and tickets will be on sale at the ground. It is likely that more than a few ‘Well fans will make the trip east to see Saturday’s hat trick hero in the dark blue of Scotland.
Others in the team will be Douglas, Webster, Pressley, Dailly and Ross in defence with Devlin, McNamara and Naysmith in midfield with Faddy.
The manager has let it be known that a good performance from the ‘Well youngster will be enough to let him remain in the full squad instead of the U21s. But he issued a timely reminder that there is a huge difference between SPL and international football.
Meanwhile the speculation about Faddy’s future continues. He remains linked with clubs the length and breadth of the country. However, the plain truth is that he is contracted to remain at Fir Park for the next couple of years and unless someone digs deep and makes a formal offer then he will start the new season in claret and amber.
