On this occasion we'll be in the pot for the 2nd qualifying round and our fate will be revealed shortly after 1.30pm following the 1st round draw at 1pm. There's no guarantee that our opponents will be known on Monday and if we draw the winner of a 1st round tie there will be only a week's notice to set up the game. MFC have tickets for the home leg on sale already (£25 for adults).
Warsaw will host the final of this season's tournament on 27 May 2015 and 162 teams will participate (155 via the qualifying rounds). In order to reach the group stage Motherwell have to get through three rounds and we'll have the advantage of seeded status in the first tie.
St Johnstone enter at the same stage as Motherwell but they will be unseeded. Aberdeen start in the 1st round as seeds but they will not have that advantage should the join us in the next round. Europa League fixtures take place on Thursdays and we'll play on July 17 and 24.
The draw will take place in the grandly named House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland and it will be streamed on UEFA.com. The draw for the 3rd qualifying round will be on Friday 18 July.
