It goes without saying that nothing less than another win, in some style at that, will be considered a par performance.
Annan were a stubborn nut to crack we could have asked for little more, going forward at least. Marvin Johnson and Louis Moult delivered the goals but we could have been home and dry before half time which would have spared a few nervous moments early in the second period.
However, despite the set back of their equaliser there was only ever going to be one winner. Another such performance should see us onto six points and - given the state of the other groups - give us an excellent chance of qualifying in second place with a win at Stranraer this weekend.
We have not had the pleasure of facing the Wee Shire since 1982 and have not lost to them in decades. There is little prospect of that changing on Tuesday and a 3-0 win should even bring the bonus of a first clean sheet of the new campaign.
