Picking over the bones of the game will do little to improve our situation. The prospect of a few new faces being available for selection in January will bring hope in the coming months but we will face a stiff test in the rest of December with only the current players.
It seems as though the dressing room will resonate to the sound of the Irish brogue in the New Year. We know for certain that there will be a left back in place and that Murphy will probably be joined with a midfielder and a striker. Trevor Molloy and Paul Keegan will bring some maturity to our young squad and it may be that they have the experience needed for what looks like the likely relegation struggle ahead.
