Motherwell's fate at this early stage has resulted in nine consecutive away draws which have taken us all over the country from Inverurie to Kilmarnock. Although this pattern has delivered some interesting away days we must be de for a home tie soon!
Richard Gough and John Kennedy will be responsible for drawing the sixteen pairs. As ever, this stage of the competition gives some of the lesser lights a chance for glory. Among them will be Edinburgh City, Irvine Meadow and last season's fourth round opponents Inverurie Loco Works. Wick Academy and Cove Rangers will be in the pot but still have to get through the third round.
