The Steering Group had been successful in registering the Trust (under the official name ‘Motherwell F.C. Supporters’ Society Limited’) and the next formal step is the calling of the first AGM and the election of the Society board.
There are over two hundred and fifty members at present and the Steering Group took the view that season ticket holders should be encouraged to join so that their voice can be heard at the board elections.
Any season ticket holder, who is not a Trust menber and not in receipt of a letter from the Trust, should contact a member of the Steering Group either by email (the signatories to the application for the formation of the Trust are Keith Brown, Martin Rose, Alistair Stewart and John Wilson) or to the registered office c/o Douglas Barr & Co. Solicitors, 43 Kirk Road, Wishaw, ML2 7BL).
Please note that membership is open to all ‘Well fans, season ticket holders or not!
A separate mailing will be sent to shareholders and to all Trust members detailing arrangements for nomination and election for the Society Board.
The AGM will be held in the Davie Cooper Suite on Saturday 29 March 2003 at 1pm.
The Trust is running a Racenight on Friday 28 February. Tickets are available for the Club Shop and from the contact points listed above,
The Trust was formed to enhance the bond between the club and its fans and to increase the influence of its supporters.
