All interested parties are invited to attend, as if 'Well fans need an excuse for a celebratory get-together! In the current climate of uncertainty over our league standing and excitement at the prospect of the semi-final, there comes an opportunity to relive similar up and down periods over the years from the late 60's through to the 1991 Cup Final. The tale is told through the eyes of Matt Johnstone.
In truth, any Motherwell fan could write a book about their experiences and it would turn out very similar in some respects yet totally different in others. This is a view of one fan's memories, unaffected by official protocol which normally dogs football publications. What is certain is that fading memories will be revived by this book.
Totally self financed and self published, the views expressed are solely those of the author so you can pull him up about any part safe in the knowledge that you have the right guy. A percentage of the profits will go to 'Well Worth Saving campaign as a donation to the Motherwell Supporters’ Trust.
The club does not back the book, it's a fan's initiative and will not be stocked by the club. It will have a limited print run and can be purchased at the launch, online at www.dosserdom.com or through various outlets including Unique in the town centre, Jack Daniels itself, Bandoni's in New Stevenston, Nelson's and St John's in The Loaning, from Sunday onwards priced £10.
