Aberdeen have shown some promise this season but there is no doubt that over the course of the season we have proven ourselves to be a much better side. They have rarely threatened our defence in previous games whilst we have already stuck four in the back of their net. Should it be any different this time?
It could well be. Dundee United were given a right hammering at Pittodrie a few weeks ago and no one knows better than us what can happen if talented youngsters hit their form. Defenders Anderson and McNaughton might be out for the hosts whilst their attack could also be blunted by the absence of Scott Booth.
For Motherwell, Scott McDonald may be fit enough to regain a place on the bench after missing the last couple of games. We also have the added bonus of being able to play on a park which has grass on it, which should help us to bring the ball down and play passing football.
There will only be a handful of hardy souls making the trip north to back the team. They should have something to shout about too, after we leave with a 2-1 win.
